A comprehensive postpartum preparation course that you can do at your own pace.

Go from freaking out about postpartum to

feeling ready for whatever comes your way.

Dreaming of a positive postpartum, but not sure how to make it a reality?

Wanting to optimise your recovery, no matter how you birth?

Hoping for some sort of control over how your postpartum goes, even when it’s out of your control?

Stressing about the people in your life that you just know are going to trigger the hell out of you?

Worrying that family and friends won’t show up for you in the way you need?

Praying you can feel as ready as you possibly can be for what’s coming?

Wondering how to get your partner on the same page, and what you can do to safeguard your relationship?

Feeling overwhelmed by the thought of filling your freezer with the best postpartum food?

Oh, I get it.

And I’ve made something just for you.

Cook & Cocoon is a practical online course that will give you the guidance you need to prep for a calm, nourished postpartum.

I’m the go-to postpartum doula for women and birthing people who want to thrive and not just survive after having a baby. I believe everyone deserves a postpartum period that’s restful, rejuvenating and respectful of the massive transition to motherhood.

I give no-bullshit guidance to families who understand that postpartum is a really big deal, and are willing to invest time, trust and dollars into making sure that they’re as ready as they can be for this transformative time.

I became a postpartum doula because of my own (absolutely shithouse) first postpartum experience.

I wanted to be able to teach women how to get ready, I wanted to nourish them with delicious, postpartum-specific food, and I wanted to show them that there is a better way than struggling through and ending up depleted and resentful.

Because there is a better way–and when I had my second baby, I put everything I’d learned as a postpartum doula into practice. I filled not one but two freezers full of food that would help me heal and support my hard-working new mama body, I set boundaries, I made sure I had the right support, I had the hard conversations.

And my experience was not only worlds away from the first time around, it was honestly the most beautiful, blissful, nourished and rested time of my life, even with the challenges that naturally came up.

And now I’m sharing exactly how I did it, how I continue to help families from all walks of life have the postpartum of their dreams—and how you can do it, too.

You’re pregnant (congrats!) and you’ve done All The Things to get ready for the birth of your baby. But now it’s like, holy shit… what happens afterwards?!

You’ve signed up for the birth education classes, watched the labour videos and bought the TENS machine. Now? Yep, you’re ready to set yourself up for a postpartum period that makes you feel nurtured and nourished.

Which means you need to know exactly what’s coming your way, how to get your partner, family and friends on board with caring for you in a meaningful way, and how to heal your body while your mind processes the massive transition to motherhood–whether it’s your first baby or your fourth.

In other words, you need honest, no bullshit guidance–and a freezer and pantry full of food that’s tailored to your needs as a new parent.

💛 To have the right kind of support around you, you need to know how to accept help while maintaining healthy boundaries.
💛 To help your body recover after the marathon of childbirth, you need to understand what it needs to avoid depletion.
💛 To understand why it might feel like you’re on a rollercoaster, you need to know what to expect and how to ride out the rough patches.
💛 To be able to roll with it all and get the rest that’s crucial for you to thrive, you need to learn all the new parent hacks.

It’s all about sorting out a solid understanding, securing a web of support and prepping in a really practical way.

And I can’t wait to doula the hell out of you!

Why learn from me?

Just to toot my own horn for a second, I’m well known for my compassionate, no-BS approach to postpartum care–and for my delicious food.

I’ve been supporting and cooking for women and families during the postpartum period for years now, and I’ve been through it twice myself.

I help people plan for a postpartum that works for their circumstances and teach them how to navigate the ups and downs on a daily basis.

I’ve heard all the good, bad and ugly stories of postpartum both as a doula and as the host of the podcast Tales from the Fourth Trimester.
