MY BOOKS ARE OPEN FOR 2025!
When everyone wants to hold the baby, who will hold the mother? Let me support you as you and your family as you navigate your fourth trimester and the massive transition - whether it’s your first baby or your fourth. I’ll be by your side from pregnancy and for the first six weeks after you give birth, to offer my ear for venting, my reassurance when you need it, my faith in your perfectly designed intuition as a mother… and my moral support, always. I’m also there to support partners, siblings and help you get the rest of your support crew on the same page for solid support (whether that’s helping manage a meal train, helping manage a mother-in-law or helping craft the perfect visitor boundary). Oh, and don’t forget the food! I’m a feeder, and I have a repertoire of delicious recipes (maybe you’ve heard of my popular cookbook!) that help with postpartum healing and recovery.
I cover the Illawarra region, from Stanwell Park to Shellharbour.
How?
90 minute postpartum planning session during pregnancy in your home. Partners/support people encouraged to participate.
A welcome basket, including dry mixes that can be made up when the baby arrives, because hospital food is generally dire (lactation cookies, kitchari and Nepalese rice pudding)
Weekly 3 hour visits for the first six weeks, catering to your needs (each visit will likely look different, but see below for what I can help with)
Nutrient-dense postpartum food to fill your fridge every week when I visit - enough to keep you nourished for the week, plus a family meal. I use organic meat and spray-free veg as much as possible. For example: A sweet potato, mozzarella and cannellini bean bake (serves 4-6), 12 mini spinach and feta pies, 12 lactation cookies, 12 nutty prune slice, 1L calming hot chocolate with ashwagandha, 1L bone broth.
Text and voice message support between visits as needed
Three post-natal yoga and breathwork videos from yoga teacher Monique Blackwell of Little Things Yoga.
My postpartum preparation guide, so you have tips, strategies and reassurance on hand as you wait for your little one
